Elf on the Shelf 2017, Week 3

Welcome back to Elf on the Shelf, Season 2017!

Last week, Cookie, our Elf on the Shelf, was partying with the Minions, the Cars and the Smurfs, plus she set up a festive Scavenger Hunt for us!

Week 3 started off with coffee and a newspaper. Cookie was enjoying an article about an elf sighting in Switzerland. Looks like a journalist called Rudolph was writing about an elf having been spotted in our neighborhood!

Cookie is pretty sure it's actually her who made the headlines, and so am I!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Cookie hooked up with Frosty ❄️🌧☃️🌧

Was it my post about art that inspired Cookie to paint a Warhol-like "Elfie"?
I like to believe she's just incredibly creative.

Bonus picture I took to participate in a photo challenge: The picture needed to include something green, something sweet, something upside down and - well - the Elf! What's the sweet, you ask? Not the M&MS, the jar? Check it out over there.

Unfortunately the pretty snow we got over the weekend was washed away by rain last night. Our elf thoughtfully tried to rescue some of the snowmen...

The next morning we were up early, and instead of sitting down to a leisurely breakfast we had a job to do:

Cookie was happy about the pretty way Colin arranged the candy canes he found, and she left a comment:

"A smile is the prettiest thing you can wear" says the mirror that Cookie and her polar bear buddies were checking out the next day:

Cookie used the canoe candle holder as a "bookend". What was she reading anyway? Colin's three investigators' advent calendar: a mystery story for every day December 1st - 24.

What will Cookie be up to next?

You'll have to wait till next week to find out. Make sure to follow me on Instagram for daily sneak peeks. In the meantime head over to ShaRhonda's blog and check out her link-up!
